I just can't stop losing control.
Need to:
Party.
Hopefully with Clément, Anna, her archi-friends & whoever wants to join.
Have killer heels.
Find life goals.
Meet English-speaking people to speak with.
Try and got to bed before 1:00 am every damned day.
Decide whether I want my fringe back or a new haircut.

Bye Bye Albion
Left the apartment on wednesday night.
Been at Martina's place since then. She's a friend of Marie. German teacher, teaching French and German at Godolphin (the Harry Potter-like girl school where Marie's been working for 2 years). She's in love. It's so cute...
S. left yesterday.
Tearless sobs of mine, both sad and happy feelings under the rain.
I just know I've never felt so alive or so myself ever, though.
Leaving France brought me so much. Unexpected pain. Unfathomable happiness, freedom, self-fulfillment.
Unexpected strong and deep friendship.
Marie is leaving for a school trip to France in 45 minutes. I will be gone when she comes back.
Tomorrow will be one long Steph and Marie-less day.
I'll be in France in exactly 2 days.
I will definitely miss speaking English.

Implacable Truths and Other Existential Doubts
Questions existentielles:
1) La pluie s'arrêtera-t-elle un jour de tomber? (5 heures d'affilée c'est déroutant)
2) Exile or not exile? Prof en Angleterre ou Master à Clermont?
Question subsidiaire à valeur purement rhétorique et portée essentiellement obsessive
3) Team Jacob or Team Edward?
EDWARD! What kind of idiotic question is that?

J'aime bien travailler, mais j'aime bien dormir aussi-
-> Bought a red dress on asos.com, aka penniless clothes-lovers' paradise.
Perle de mes élèves:
Moi: Bonnes vacances!
Elles, presque en choeur: Et toi!
Mental note: teach them "toi aussi".
Clément va venir on on verra Patrick Wolf in London baby.
Ca existe les Nutellaholic Anonymes?
T'es dégoûté? Tu fais une drôle de tête. C'est parce que TTC continue là où tu t'arrêtes.
Jamais cru que j'écouterais ça un jour!

Wii+Tesco
Last Tuesday was a girls' night.
Steph and I went to Godolphin School, the Hogwarts-like-except-for-magic-and-boys school where Marie has been working for 2 years now. There really are houses like in HP!
It was strange to go in the girls' buildings to have tea and play Wii. But that felt very nice. Talking to Marie's colleague was so pleasant, casual. Quite a carefree evening.
A couple of bowling, tennis, golf games and biscuits later, we were heading to the big 24/24 Tesco in Marie's glorious 106, seemingly the only French - or even continental- car in Salisbury.
Under the full moon, surrounded by velvet-like clouds, Marie and I experienced a phase of Twilight-related hysterics. Told you it felt like a drug to me...
Steph said we had to go back home early parce qu'il y en a qui travaillent demain quand même! Did you know Steph has her own private Facebook fan club?
Once in Tesco in the clothes department in Tesco, we quietly tried on cardigans, looked at panties and night-clothes.
A perfect Tuesday night...

Lost in Translation (Still)
Back to France.
Perilous journey. Tempest while on the ferry. Dumbest bus driver ever. Heaviest suitcase ever. Mental note: hiring someone to carry it...
Back to my father's house, in my room furnished with bits and pieces, from the 60s wardrobe (hate it so much) to the cheap desk and cheap everything, actually. Cracking wooden floor. Cold.
Pictures from long ago.
Vacuum.
Spiderwebs. Whatever.
Listening to his music.
Decorated the Christmas tree today, at last. It's been the same for ages. Really. And it's ugly, it really is. Yet doing it with Pauline is always nice...
Does drinking coffee mean I'm a big girl now?
Yearning to watch Lost in Translation.
Oh my cat...
Vacuum. Or feeling to be overwhelmed. Bonjour Tristesse.
Fresh wound. When will it get better?

In the street.
I'm walking in the street, going in town, listening to my iPod louder than ever (I've always been a good little girl avant).
It's sooo cold, I'm wearing 3 layers of clothes under my coat, my TopShop (L) gloves, thights+leggings+socks, my Faith boots (famous for my students), but a short skirt that I roll in the top to make it even shorter. Yeah, I'm influenced by my students. But I'm only 2 years older than they are.
During those moments I really feel that I'm not at home and that's it feels good.
Taking the same way, the same streets all the time.
Walking past the tattoo artist's place, stopping in front of it longer and longer every time. Soon...
The sparkling, silver, pink, very girly shop.
All the Chinese takeaways.
The zebra crossing where I either stay still for ages before I can cross, or hurry between the cars.
Past the Mill, bumping into S. at the zebra crossing (consistently, isn't it?) in front of the King's Head Inn.
Hurrying because I am late.
The path behind the churchyard. Doesn't even scare me.
Arriving at the Chough (for instance ^^ ), Café Monde, Tesco, Debenhams (L), ...
