Lost in Translation (Still)

Back to France.

Perilous journey. Tempest while on the ferry. Dumbest bus driver ever. Heaviest suitcase ever. Mental note: hiring someone to carry it...

Back to my father's house, in my room furnished with bits and pieces, from the 60s wardrobe (hate it so much) to the cheap desk and cheap everything, actually. Cracking wooden floor. Cold.

Pictures from long ago.

Vacuum.

Spiderwebs. Whatever.

Listening to his music.

Decorated the Christmas tree today, at last. It's been the same for ages. Really. And it's ugly, it really is. Yet doing it with Pauline is always nice...

Does drinking coffee mean I'm a big girl now?

Yearning to watch Lost in Translation.

Oh my cat...

Vacuum. Or feeling to be overwhelmed. Bonjour Tristesse.

Fresh wound. When will it get better?

Housewarming Party

French, German, Spanish, Italian and even English ! And Vodka.

S.'s "lovely" (speaking like a fifty-year-old English woman ^^) risotto, Mays's apple and chocolate crumble. After a tremendous shopping day in Southampton. On est des folles nous.

Vive le cosmopolitisme (s'en est pas vraiment, mais faisons comme si)

Our housewarming party took place quite long ago, but I forgot this article...

Attention, PHOTOS !!

In the street.

I'm walking in the street, going in town, listening to my iPod louder than ever (I've always been a good little girl avant).

It's sooo cold, I'm wearing 3 layers of clothes under my coat, my TopShop (L) gloves, thights+leggings+socks, my Faith boots (famous for my students), but a short skirt that I roll in the top to make it even shorter. Yeah, I'm influenced by my students. But I'm only 2 years older than they are.

During those moments I really feel that I'm not at home and that's it feels good.

Taking the same way, the same streets all the time.

Walking past the tattoo artist's place, stopping in front of it longer and longer every time. Soon...

The sparkling, silver, pink, very girly shop.

All the Chinese takeaways.

The zebra crossing where I either stay still for ages before I can cross, or hurry between the cars.

Past the Mill, bumping into S. at the zebra crossing (consistently, isn't it?) in front of the King's Head Inn.

Hurrying because I am late.

The path behind the churchyard. Doesn't even scare me.

Arriving at the Chough (for instance ^^ ), Café Monde, Tesco, Debenhams (L), ...

De la gastronomie Britannique.

Let me introduce to you (and if you already know, tant pis) a very typical British Chrismas dessert...

MINCE PIES ...

2702_MEDIUM.jpg

It has nothing to do with mince meat.

Mince pies are made of pastry and fruits dipped in whisky.

They are hautingly yummy !!

Addiction

Clé, j'ai replongé.

After Granolas in prépa, my new addiction is...

mcvities.jpg
McVitie's dark chocolate biscuits...

I would need some kind of machine that would give me only 3 biscuits a day. Or I could stop buying them. I could...
Let's see how long it takes me before I buy some now I've finished the packet (oui ça ne sonne pas anglais!)...
