I'm shallow, very very shallow, so what ?

Last Saturday, woke up at 8:00 (incredible) to go to Southampton with Steph (you bitch) and Marie.

An hour in the bus to finally discover... West Quay (tadah)

I've rarely been in such a huge mall. That was awesome! (2 references to 'How I Met your Mother' in one line)

We've "only" been to Zara, H and M and New Look, but our wallets thank us not to have done more.

Here is one shelf of the shoe department in New Look. Thought I would faint !

That was another great day with you girls.

Much fun, chatting and laughing :)

Spire Tour

Thanks to Marie, I had the chance to visit the Cathedral Spire for free !

It was great, but I feared it might not be when I started climbing up the stairs... A bit high... So I agreed with myself that I would not suffer from vertigo at that moment. That worked.

Then I climbed up about 400 steps, and that was worth it !

 

Spécificités culturelles I

I warn you, this post won't have any consistent meaning.

 

Do you remember this drawing by Penelope Jolicoeur, showing how cautious she was, owning like 30 black dresses?

Last Friday, I didn't buy 1, but 2 LBDs (Little Black Dress - PRN in French) in Republic.

One looks a little "English girl going to party/get pissed on Saturday night".

Whatever, it is gorgeous (the dress), I'm just happy I own it ^^

Spécificités culturelles:

English people can have dinner very early (Marie peut en témoigner). So I think I'm kinda becoming English. I fear I might have had dinner a coupl of times BEFORE 19:00.

Oh il fait nuit. Il est 20h ? Non, 16h15.

Feux d'artifice

Vendredi dernier, Marie nous a gracieusement invités à son école pour

1) manger gratuitement

2) voir un feu d'artifice en l'honneur de Guy Fawkes Day.Savez-vous qu'en plus de célébrer la mort/la tentative d'un type qui a essayé de faire exploser le Parlement au XVIIè (cf V for Vendetta), les Anglais font des feux d'artifice maison pendant les 10 jours précédents? Ben nous maintenant, on le sait très bien: ça explosait de partout de 17h à 23h (oui la nuit tombe très tôt ici - 16h15 aujourd'hui).

3) nous socialiser

Il faisait froid, mais le feu était joli !

Steph s'est bien amusée avec sa baguette magique!

Déménagement

Samedi, mon aaaaadorable proprio m'a suggéré de déménager. J'ai pas dit non.

Après quelques recherches et interrogations, Steph a eu la bonté de me proposer d'être sa colocataire :)

Mercredi soir, grâce à Marie, ses talents de déménageuse bretonne et sa 106 tous terrains, j'habitai chez Steph !

Depuis (wi on n'est que jeudi), on se la coule douce, et de mon côté, l'ambiance est bien plus détendue qu'avant !

Et puis je n'aurai plus à aller à la salle de bain à la lumière de mon portable -_-

Alors merci Steph et Mariiiiie !
